Bold Art for Brands That Want to Stand Out
From gritty dive bars to polished storefronts, I rework spaces with bold, nostalgic, feel-good art that grabs attention and brings brands to life. Whether it’s a mural, menu, or full-on vibe reset, Lil Bud Designs helps businesses stand out by looking like the spot, not just another spot.
"Breathing New Life into a Colorado Springs Landmark"
I brought my own signature style to this massive art installation, transforming a historic downtown Colorado Springs building — home to several iconic bars — into a bold new landmark. My work infuses the space with color, humor, and a fun, welcoming energy that invites people to gather and celebrate. By mixing my personal artistic voice with the building’s rich past, this piece helps revive the neighborhood while staying true to its lively spirit.
Midnight Cowboy Speakeasy Menu — Austin, TX
I turned Midnight Cowboy’s cocktail menu into a vintage western comic adventure. Each chapter feels like flipping through an old-school pulp magazine, with bold illustrations, playful type, and hidden surprises woven throughout. The design sets the tone before the first sip — inviting guests into a moody, mysterious, and totally unforgettable cocktail experience.
Bombsnow Magazine Cover & Featured Artist
I had the honor of creating the cover art for Bombsnow magazine and being featured as their artist. This cover flips the classic Western standoff on its head — instead of cowboys with six-shooters, it’s a skier and a snowboarder facing off at high noon.
Inspired by vintage Western comics and old-school movie posters, this piece captures that playful rivalry on the mountain: skis vs. board, powder vs. park, all in good fun. It’s bold, nostalgic, and a little tongue-in-cheek — everything I love bringing into my work.
Inside the magazine, I got to share more about my process, my influences (from 1950s comics to surreal pop art), and how I mix vintage Americana with modern mountain culture.
Being the featured artist and cover designer for Bombsnow felt like the perfect creative collision — a celebration of both art and the wild spirit of the mountains.
